Founder
Dr. Begüm Åžahin
Dr. Begüm Åžahin graduated from the Department of International Trade at BoÄŸaziçi University in 2007. She completed her master’s degree in marketing, and her graduate thesis focused on product strategies in international markets. She worked in international marketing and business development units both in her family business and in various companies.

Dr. Åžahin took part in more than 30 TÜBÄ°TAK, KOSGEB, Development Agency, and European Union projects within the scope of university–industry collaboration. She has served as a trainer, mentor, and jury member in the fields of techno-entrepreneurship, startups, and women entrepreneurship and carried out international mentoring roles within the women entrepreneurship support program of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and the ISSE Erasmus+ Program.

At OSTÄ°M Technical University, she served as the Founding Head of the Department of International Trade and Finance and as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, in addition to her role as the founding director of the university’s Entrepreneurship and Leadership Center. During her tenure as a faculty member, she managed several funded projects, including “Sosyal Atölye” supported by the Ankara Development Agency Financial Support Program; the SOGEP (Social Development Support Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology) guided project “OSTIMTECH FACTORY”; and the European Union Erasmus+ project titled “Developing EntreComp and DigComp Framework for Higher Education.”
Conducting research in the fields of social entrepreneurship, women entrepreneurship, and technology entrepreneurship, she has published a book titled “Startups in the Market” by Gazi Publishing House. Since 2021, she has been carrying out export- and growth-oriented support activities for SMEs under LinerExpo, and between 2023 and 2025, she contributed as a training consultant to the World Bank–supported “FESAS – Registered Employment in Agriculture” project.
